Mobile and Gaming Console Technicians are specialized repair professionals who focus on fixing a wide range of electronic devices, from smartphones and tablets to gaming consoles like PlayStations, Xboxes, and Nintendo Switches. They diagnose hardware and software issues, perform repairs, and provide technical assistance to customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:

Identifying the root cause of hardware malfunctions (e.g., cracked screens, broken charging ports, malfunctioning buttons, water damage).
Diagnosing software problems (e.g., operating system errors, software glitches, firmware issues).
Using diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems.
Repair and Replacement:

Disassembling devices and replacing faulty components (e.g., screens, batteries, cameras, circuit boards).
Soldering and microsoldering components (for more intricate repairs).
Re-assembling devices and testing functionality.
Performing software updates and reinstalls.
Customer Service:

Interacting with customers to understand their issues and explain repair options.
Providing estimates for repairs and explaining costs.
Managing customer expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
Handling customer inquiries and complaints.
Inventory Management:

Keeping track of parts and supplies inventory.
Ordering necessary parts from suppliers.
Maintaining organized inventory storage.
Quality Control:

Staying Up-to-Date:

Keeping up with the latest mobile devices and gaming consoles.

Data Recovery: Attempting to recover data from damaged devices.
Device Customization: Performing modifications or customizations to devices (e.g., screen replacements with different colors, console modding).

Job Type: Full-Time Part-Time Contractor

Pay: Commission Base (Varies on experience education/certifications

Benefits: You are responsible on getting your own benefits

Schedule: Sunday to Saturday from 08:00 am to 10:00 pm. Off Federal Holidays

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Customers/Clients Location when needed

Work Location: Northern Utah

You will interact with customer's, suggest solutions for their needs, install invisible shield on customer devices, repair broken phones, and keep the kiosk clean and organized. We are seeking a team member that can work 30-40 hours per week (over 4-5 shifts), we have great flexibility for school, or other commitments. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.
